Hey everyone! When we first launched Pulsetray, the initial release focused heavily on the mobile app experience. But as developers, we spend the majority of our time sitting in front of a computer.
That is why, from day one, a dedicated web dashboard was one of the highest priorities. Today, I'm excited to announce that the Pulsetray Web Dashboard is officially live and available for all users!
What is the Web Dashboard?
Unlike the Android app the web dashboard doesn’t act as a passive "device" meant to receive push notifications. Instead, think of it as your admin panel designed to let you build, configure, and test all resources related to notifications.
Key Features
- Notification history: Review a global history of all the alerts sent across your account.
- API keys: See, create, or revoke your API keys easily.
- Organize sources and categories: Manage your sources, and the categories belonging to each one.
- Organize profiles and devices: Add new profiles, devices, and get the onboarding information to share it with others to get their devices onboarded. You can also see their status to know if a device is onboarded, or if it's signed out of their account.
- Send test notifications: Build notifications directly from this dashboard, and see a live cURL preview so that you can just copy and paste the integration to your services.
Improving your workflow
Before this release, setting up a notification, creating API keys or managing categories required using your phone constantly and switching between your phone and your computer.
With the web dashboard, you can keep your browser tab open right next to your code editor. You can generate a new API key, configure a fresh category for a new script, and trigger a live test event to your phone with just a few clicks. It completely removes the friction of managing your alerts.
Available to everyone today
The web dashboard is fully integrated into our platform and it is now available to all tiers, including the Free plan. There's nothing else required, just go to app.pulsetray.com and sign in using your existing account.
As always, your feedback is super important. Now that you can manage your notification preferences straight from the web, let us know what features you want to see added next! Drop us a message at support@pulsetray.com.
